"Hello- My name is Donna Lee. I want to say again how much I appreciated that you [Mr. Bellum Tan & Mdm. Doreen Tan of RichDad Asia] came to LA and shared your story and words of advise with us. I am so sad that I was too shy to tell the truth and therefore missed an INCREDIBLE opportunity to be able to play the game with you directly. When you were asking us at the beginning how many times we had played.... I lied and only said 15 times, when the truth is that I have owned the electronic version for about 6 weeks and I have already played it well over 100 times.
My short story.... about 2 months ago I caught a re-run of Robert on PBS. Though I have always wanted to find a way to invest, I was always afraid, I bought many books and programs, but it never changed my fear. When I hear him I decided to try again.
I only started with on CD, but then I bought another, and then bought the E-Game about 6 weeks ago. The first several times I played I was always extremely upset to land on downsized or doodad. It wasn't until I played on the online sever and met some people, one person pointed out about paying off my liabilities too fast, that really changed my attitude in the game and I started to play in ernest.
Because of the opportunity to try things out in the game I am definitely making huge shifts in my thinking. I haven't done any real investing yet, right now I am trying to learn and obsorb all the info I can.
I am glad people are doing the meet ups, I don't know anyone that is interested in investing, all my friends are very much "E's" even the one who says she is always talks about "security".
So to be in a room full of people excited about the concepts taught in the game....
Well, it was very exhilirating. I did worry that the Meetup might be a "sales pitch" but I figured I would not know unless I went and saw for myself. I am so glad I did.
